Football: Daniel Alves is set to play 300th game for FC Barcelona

Brazilian right-back Daniel Alves is set to reach another milestone this weekend when Fc Barcelona will play Atheltic de Bilbao. It would be his 300th game for the Catalan club. Daniel Alves arrived in 2008 at Barcelona after spending six seasons at Sevilla. Since then, Alves has become one of the most decorated players in the history of the Catalan giants. He has won numerous throphies, including the Champions League twice and four times the Spanish league title. This Saturday Alves will play his 300th game in the shirt of Fc Barcelona. The team of Luis Enrique is the only club in La Liga with a 100 percent record after beating Elche and Villareal in its two first games. Alves will be aiming to maintain that perfect record when he takes to the field in the weekend. In recent days, the Brazilian has been linked with a move to Juventus, Liverpool or Manchester United. Daniel Alves' contract expires at the end of this season.
