Barça -:Looking good, Feeling Great
*Double the fun for Neymar
*The Messi and Neymar show
Barcelona focused today's training session on their first Champions League game of the season against Apoel Nicosia, feeling on top form after a perfect start to the season - sitting pretty as unbeaten league leaders.
Saturday's 2-0 win against Athletic Bilbao has given the Barcelona fans an additional reason to be optimistic regarding their upcoming European commitment. The team aren't exactly a goal-machine, nor do they create innumerous occasions, but they are solid as a rock in defence. For the third game in a row, the ball hasn't crossed Bravo's goal line once, and has never really looked like it was ever about to.
With Messi apparently back to his old form and Neymar finally finding his goal-boots, the Culé faithful are finally smiling, the mediocrity of the end of last season a thing of the past.
Luis Enrique has known exactly what changes needed to be made. Improvements have been made to the team all over, but especially in the midfield and defence. The club's new signings, Rakitic and Mathieu, have proven the new manager right.
In the training session at Barça's Ciudad Deportiva, Alves trained apart from the rest of the team, after complaining of niggles in his left knee that ruled him out of the Athletic game.
Apart from Masip and Vermaelen, both out injured, Luis Enrique could count on all his players, who exercised at different levels of intensity, depending on if they had played on Saturday or not.
The Catalan club will return to training this Monday.
