Female Athletes Who Have Athlete Fathers

1. Isabelle and Daniela Lendl.  Both girls play golf and have made a name for themselves at their respective schools. Isabelle plays for Florida State while Daniela plays at Alabama State. Their father, Ivan Lendl, is a professional tennis player having won 8 Grand Slam titles.
2 Diana Taurasi. Diana is a four-time WNBA All-Star player. Her father, Mario, was a professional soccer player in Argentina who played goalie.
3.Jennifer Capriato.  Capriato, one of the top women players of the 1990’s, is the daughter of Italian soccer player Stefano Capriato. During her tennis career, Jennifer won 14 tournaments, but quit in her early 20’s due to injuries.
4. Jacqui Frazier-Lyde.  Jacqui  didn’t take up boxing until age 38. Jacqui and Laila met in 2001 for an 8 round by decision match. Ali gave Frazier her only defeat in her 14 career bouts.
5. Laila Ali.  Laila followed her famous father, Mohamed Ali, into boxing at a young age. This 5 foot 10 inch middleweight  ended her professional career with a record of 24-0.
