 Nigerian-born Chioma Ubogagu has joined Arsenal ladies from the Stanford University team,United States. Arsenal ladies team manager, Pedro Martinez Losa expresses delight in the new signing. ‘Chioma is a player I have known about from my time coaching in the United States and she is a fantastic talent. She is very creative, and is able to make goals as well as score them. I think that she will fit in very well with us.’ The 2012 FIFA Women U-20 World Cup winner for the USA played 89 times for the US team, scored 27 goals with 37 assists which places her fourth on Stanford’s list of all time assists.
