Sokari Kingsley says Enyimba's victory over Buffles de Borgou and
his 83rd minute header that doubled the team's lead has made him a happy
boy.
The midfielder was easily Sunday's man of the match, providing
great defensive cover and launching swift counter-attacking moves. His
trademark intensity was evident on the afternoon and by the time he
leaped and headed Enyimba's second from a difficult angle, there was no
doubt that this was a player in the form of his life.
The club website reports him as saying "This is exactly the kind of game that I
enjoy. In the CAF Champions League, games are harder and more technical,
so when you play well and win by three goals, as a player you feel
good.
"We didn't know anything about them (Buffles) until today when we
played them so I am happy that I did my own part to help our team win.
Now we would play the second leg with some confidence, since we have
faced them and know their strengths and weaknesses."
