WHEN a man tried to enter John F Kennedy International Airport, US Customs and Border Patrol had to be impressed with ‘the package’ in his underwear
Lewis had “exhibited numerous signs of nervousness” to arouse suspicion of officers from the US Customs and Border Patrol who were inspecting his suitcase.
They pulled him aside and when they patted him down they felt the
‘hard object’ in his groin region and discovered the cocaine shoved
between his underwear and a pair of bicycle shorts that he was wearing
under his pants.
“This seizure is another example of our CBP officers being ever vigilant in protecting the United States from the distribution of illicit drugs,” said Robert E. Perez, Director of CBP’s New York Field Operations.
