Sports: Michael Jordan Feud With Charles Barkley

Michael Jordan ‘doesn’t like me anymore’, says NBA great Charles Barkley ONE of the NBA’s most famous friendships is on the rocks. Charles Barkley said Michael Jordan “doesn’t like me anymore” after he criticised Jordan for the job he was doing as owner of the Charlotte Bobcats — newly renamed the Hornets. "I think that Michael was upset by some of the things I said about the Bobcats," Barkley said in an interview with Yahoo Sports. "Which, No. 1, they were true. I can’t — you know ... I’m going to be honest and I’m going to be fair. And the Bobcats — first of all, he’s doing a much better job. But a couple years ago — I want to say three years ago — when they were vying for the worst record in NBA history, Michael had not done a good job. He took it personally." Jordan has been the principal owner of the Charlotte team since 2010, and the team went a pathetic 7-59 in the lockout-shortened 2011-12 season. Barkley and Jordan have been close since they were NBA rivals and members of the Dream Team in the early 1990s. Barkley credited Jordan for some financial advice when he was doing ads for Nike. But Barkley is known for his on-camera candor as an NBA analyst for TNT and refused to make an exception for Jordan, who he says has "always been like a brother to me".
