Enyimba's leading goalscorer in the Nigeria Premier League,Mfon Udoh has revealed he's eager for the resumption of the 2013/2014 Premier League, he said on the club's website.
The 22-year-old had scored 13 goals in all competitions this term before the League Management Company announced the suspension of the Glo Premier League, following the withdrawal of service by the Nigeria Referees Asociation.
The forward has now told he's eager to see the suspension lifted so he and his team can return to action.
"I want league games to start so we can can return to competitive action," Udoh said. "We had been on a good run before the suspension so I believe that if we return to action soon, we would still maintain our form and continue getting good results."
"Hopefully, everything would be resolved soon and league games can start again so we all can continue playing again and doing what we love on the pitch," he said.
Enyimba will travel to Akwa United, Mfon Udoh's former club, on Matchday 26 whenever the LMC lifts the suspension.
